How We Helped Care Santé Streamline Their Digital Transformation Journey
In 2022, we started a new partnership with Care Santé, a home care organisation based across the UK. Care Santé provides life-changing services for adults with physical, cognitive and mental health challenges to help them live independently at home.
As part of being a growing business, Care Santé quickly discovered a need for a smarter, streamlined IT infrastructure to support their day-to-day business activities. Lily was chosen as their dedicated IT provider, helping the group to connect and collaborate on a centralised comms and IT system. Who is Care Santé?
Care Santé has been delivering home care services across South Yorkshire, Humberside, East Midlands, Central England, London and Kent since 2021. They are grouped with two other brands, Valley Care and Helpers Homecare, to support vulnerable adults of all ages at home.
They offer short and long-term support, including end-of-life care, respite, live-in care and dementia care. Underpinned by strong values, Care Santé is driven to help people to live independent, satisfying lives with the support of their care workforce. Care Santé continues to build its business by establishing new branches and acquiring outstanding local companies.
The IT Challenges They Faced
By acquiring new businesses, Care Santé soon discovered that each had its own IT infrastructure, with separate systems, arrangements and support. Their IT infrastructure was siloed and unsustainable, making connectivity and productivity challenging across their home care branches.
Care Santé spoke with many digital transformation companies but found that Lily stood out for its services, commitment and dedicated team on hand.
How Lily Helped Care Santé
At the start of the project, we learnt from Care Santé about their needs, how many users they have and their set goals for their group. By working closely with them, we set out to bring all their branches into a central IT and communications system.
Digital transformation affects all aspects of a care provider’s operations, so to help Care Santé, we implemented our Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system. The Lily Cloud VoIP phone system is hosted in the cloud and uses SIP to transfer voice data over the internet. Originally, Care Santé had several separate phone systems across their branches, making them unfeasible and costly as they continued to grow.
Lily’s cloud-based phone system is completely scalable, allowing it to grow with Care Santé as they expand. It was implemented across sites and gave the group the accessibility to easily connect with other workers no matter the location. This improved efficiencies across their operations and allowed them to transfer information quickly and effectively.
Care Santé also benefits from our ongoing IT management services, which include rapid IT support, anti-spam and anti-virus management, web protection, document backup and more. Now achieving a strong IT infrastructure, Care Santé could safely operate online knowing they had the support of our experts.
